Les Bousquies

You will find all the charm and atmosphere of the authentic houses of our region, carefully renovated to provide modern comfort. A large private swimming pool for cooling off, a covered pool house (terrace) at the water’s edge, lined with another outdoor space on the courtyard with garden furniture, protected by traditional stone walls: inside and outside, it is a haven of peace for the holidays.

150m2 of happiness for holidays for 6/8 people comfortably installed! Les Bousquiès Ouest is a spacious gite with several attractions for the whole family: on the ground floor, the living / dining room is really bright, thanks to its caulked beams and bright white stone. The two sofas are convivial, for evenings with family or friends until the end of the night. 2 bedrooms are on the ground floor, each with its queen size bed, neat decoration and adequate storage. Upstairs you will find two other bedrooms, one of which has two single beds and a bathroom. There is also a small mezzanine to read, or send news to friends thanks to the wifi throughout the house. The kitchen (on the ground floor) is large, equipped with all the appliances and kitchen utensils you may need. Want to simmer a good confit? A good duck breast? There is everything you need !

Do you prefer grilled meats? Meet outside, on one of the 2 terraces, courtyard side or pool side (where the pool house is covered, practical in case of rain). Large tables in perspective? You have room and you can enjoy the meal at your own pace, while the children play in the garden, have a ping-pong tournament or have fun on the swing! Les Bousquiès Ouest enjoys a splendid panorama of the surrounding nature, which you can enjoy from the garden or the swimming pool (and its covered terrace).

Want to go on a mop? A few minutes walk away is the Château de Lacypierre, a pretty castle to visit. There are also many hikes from the cottage! The whole family will appreciate the proximity of the Vézère Valley and the Dordogne Valley. The Périgord Noir is a high place of tourism! There are so many things to see that some do not hesitate to come back several times to take the tour. Whether you like leisure, sports, visits or walks, you will never run out of ideas. Let the children discover our ancestors in the Vallée de l’Homme, you are a few minutes from Montignac and the Lascaux Caves. Visit troglodyte sites such as La Roque Saint-Christophe (Saint-Léon-sur-Vézère) or the village of La Madeleine (Tursac). Dive under the depths of the earth to admire the concretions of the Gouffre de Proumeyssac near Le Bugue… Everything is nearby! In the Dordogne Valley, it’s castle life and the perched villages will be an opportunity to admire fantastic viewpoints from Beynac, Castelnaud or Domme for example. The Périgord Noir is a nature, family and open air destination as we like them!
